PUBLICATIONS

Man, Dr. Huffman, in a light suit sits on a bench surrounded by tropical greenery.

Dr. Huffman’s research and publication record demonstrates a deep commitment to advancing evidence-based psychological care. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and academic chapters spanning topics such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), autism interventions, emotion regulation, and mental health disparities.

His work has been published in respected journals including Psychotherapy, Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Autism in Adulthood, among others. His research often focuses on improving real-world outcomes—such as employment skills for individuals with autism, effectiveness of DBT programs, and the role of identity, stigma, and privilege in mental health treatment engagement.
